A little bit about myself:

I'm currently an aspiring stay at home mommy (SAHM). By that I mean I'm pregnant (past my due date as you can see) and planning on staying home with the little one for a while until I can go back to school. Surprisingly enough, I'm young. Younger than you might imagine a woman to be when she's planning on being a SAHM. In fact, I'm 18. *insert gasp here*

I love to cook/bake, scrapbook, and I adore any moments I get to read or write. I hate the dishes, but am generally content to do just about any other chore in the house and so as far as being a homemaker goes, I think I do pretty good. I believe in constant expression of creativity and a never-ending commitment to education.

I am almost incomprehensively addicted to crime dramas. Law & Order (regular, CI and SVU), CSI, The Closer, etc. In fact I've watched so much of them throughout my pregnancy that I'm almost positive my son will recognize the theme songs as surely as he would my voice.

A few good pieces of wisdom:

*Poetry and philosophy are the essence of life. One cannot call themselves alive with out experiencing them on a regular basis.
*Fuck the conventional.
*Embrace the impossible & the miserable. They make you stronger.
*Learn to fly, but only after you learn to sink.
*& most importantly, always indulge your inner child.
